It’s Monday, got to start out with some humor. “Greg Gutfeld reacted to recent developments following President Trump’s claim that President Obama wiretapped his namesake tower.
Gutfeld said that if House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes’ (R-Calif.) contention about the allegations is true, Trump will at least be “half right” in this case.” Watch the video and read more here. Gutfeld on Trump: ‘Even When He’s Losing, He Ends Up Winning’

“Conservative media has always been held to a higher standard than liberal media, and as conservatives we have to live up to that higher standard,” said Matthew Continetti, the editor-in-chief of the Washington Free Beacon. “When we don’t, it not only undermines our work as journalists, but also the conservative project as a whole.” Read more here. “A government watchdog group filed suit against the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for not handing over records related to the “environmental justice” grants the agency hands out to activist groups across the country.
Judicial Watch filed suit Monday after the EPA failed to comply with a 2015 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request seeking records of environmental justice grants and their associated proposals during the Obama administration.
“The Obama EPA’s ‘environmental justice’ slush fund for its left-wing allies needs to be exposed,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a statement. “This is a simple records request and the fact that the Obama EPA ignored it for years tells you the agency has something to hide.” Read more here. “Are Israel and Hezbollah headed for war?
That’s the question many analysts are grappling with in the wake of recent escalations involving an Israeli strike inside Syria that targeted a weapons shipment meant for Hezbollah. It prompted Bashar Assad’s launch of three SA-5 surface-to-air missiles, triggering the first known use of Israel’s Arrow-2 missile defense system. The conflagration was noteworthy enough for several Israeli newspapers to describe it as “the most serious incident” to occur between Israel and forces inside Syria in recent years. Read more here. President Trump News:
“President Donald Trump signed legislation Monday that officially repealed a rule that would have cost businesses hundreds of millions of dollars a year.
Trump signed legislation introduced in the House of Representatives overturning President Barack Obama’s 2014 Fair Pay and Safe Workplaces rule, which required government contractors and subcontractors to report all allegations of labor violations to the Department of Labor.
Manufacturers identified the blacklisting rule as one of the “most significant threats to the growing American businesses and to hiring more American workers” during a meeting with Trump earlier this month, Sean Spicer, White House press secretary said in a news conference Monday.
“The rule simply made it too easy for trial lawyers to go after American companies and American workers who contract with the federal government. The president saw that workers, tax and businesses truly suffered under this rule,” Spicer said.” Read more here. Trump Repeals Obama Era Labor Rule That Could Have Cost Businesses Millions
