Washington, DC) – “Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the State and Treasury Departments for records on the Obama administration’s transfer of $400 million in foreign currency to Iran in January 2016.”

“The suit was filed after the agencies failed to respond to August 2016 FOIA requests seeking:

“Hillary Clinton emails recently discovered on Anthony Weiner’s computer revealed, among other things, that as secretary of state, she helped Clinton Foundation donors.

Clinton aide and Weiner’s wife Huma Abedin connected State Department officials to a Russian cultural organization, per a request by Clinton Foundation donor, Eddie Trump (no relation to President Trump).

According to a May 10, 2010, email obtained and published by Judicial Watch, Abedin told Doug Band, a Bill Clinton aide who formerly headed the foundation, that she “hooked up” people who recommended Trump to the “right people” at the State Department.

Trump had apparently recommended that Abedin connect Russian American Foundation Vice President Rina Kirshner with people at the State Department.” More here.> Judicial Watch: Huma Abedin Emails Show Favors for Clinton Foundation Donors

“The House Oversight Committee released a scathing report Wednesday that accuses former Attorney General Eric Holder and his Department of Justice of covering up Operation Fast and Furious and misleading Congress’ investigation into the botched gun-running operation.

The nearly 300-page report states that the Justice Department under Holder actively tried to hide the facts from the loved ones of slain Border Patrol Brian Terry – seeing his family as more of a “nuisance” than one deserving straight answers — and at times being openly hostile to them.” More here.> Fast and Furious report slams Holder, DOJ for deception in gun-running scandal

World News:

“ISIS claimed responsibility for a pair of Wednesday attacks in Tehran in which suicide bombers and teams of gunmen stormed Iran’s parliament and the nearby shrine of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, killing at least 12 and injuring dozens of others.

This is the first attack orchestrated by ISIS in the Islamic Republic, SITE Intel Group reported. It wasn’t initially clear if the death count, reported by state broadcaster IRIB, included the attackers.

In a rare and stunning move, ISIS released video from inside the parliament building while the attack was under way.” More here.>IRAN ATTACK: ISIS claims responsibility for pair of assaults in Tehran

Dear Climate Alarmists: Now That The Paris Accord Is Settled, Please Go Away

“Another media report casually reveals classified national security information, yet offers no compelling rationale for why it was necessary.”

“This morning, The New York Times brought us another breathtaking exposé of classified national security information that is really important for the public to know because…um, well, because they just kind of felt like it.

The story is about a contractor for an international shipping company who was captured and held hostage by rebels in Yemen before being released last year. Without the man’s permission or cooperation, The New York Times gives details of his capture and imprisonment, his name, his age, his exact job description with the shipping company, and the location where his wife and children lived at the time (none of which I will repeat here).” More here.> The Media Is Now Leaking Classified Info Just Because They Feel Like It

“A conservative military watchdog says the Justice Department isn’t the only federal agency that needs to drain the swamp.

As reported Tuesday, President Trump thus far has chosen not to follow the tradition of his liberal predecessor by declaring June “LGBT Pride Month.” However, individual military units are planning their own LGBT pride events, including one for the Pentagon Courtyard on June 12.

Elaine Donnelly, president of the Center for Military Readiness, says such an observance would be totally inconsistent with the president, who hasn’t issued a proclamation – as Barack Obama had done annually since 2011.

“This is an example of Obama holdovers at the Department of Defense making policy as if the election never happened,” she explains to OneNewsNow. “[And] certainly anyone responsible for what could be interpreted as an official proclaiming or official event, even if it isn’t … should be held accountable for that.” More here.> U.S. military suffering from holdover hangover
