“The Center for Medical Progress (CMP) has released yet another nauseating video discussing abortion providers at Planned Parenthood (PP) actually performing late-term abortions, breaking the 2003 federal law that banned them. This, combined with the multiple investigations showing Planned Parenthood receives federal funding it does not need, should be more than enough to defund the organization—rather than just placing them under investigation again—thereby hitting them where it hurts most.

In the latest video, Dr. Suzie Prabhakaran, Vice President of Medical Affairs for Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida, told CMP investigators posing as fetal organ tissue buyers from a biotech company that abortionists skirt the federal partial birth abortion law via a “checkbox.” Video and article here.> Not only does Planned Parenthood receive federal funding it doesn’t need, there’s now proof they perform illegal abortions.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — “A man charged Tuesday in the fatal shooting of a police officer in Indianapolis was dangling upside down in his overturned car following a crash when he suddenly became agitated as the officer tried to help him and opened fire, striking the officer 11 times, according to court documents.

Jason D. Brown, 28, was charged Tuesday with one felony count of murder in the July 27 slaying of Southport police Lt. Aaron Allan. He also faces a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge. Authorities haven’t disclosed a possible motive in the killing.

But a probable cause affidavit filed with the charges states that other officers and witnesses said Allan approached the overturned car, stuck his head inside and told Brown “to be calm and that help was on the way.” The Indianapolis man became “hysterical,” it states, before allegedly grabbing a handgun and opening fire, shooting Allan 11 times, including in the heart.” More here.> MAN CHARGED WITH MURDER IN SHOOTING OF INDIANA OFFICER

ALHAMBRA, Calif. (AP) — “A couple’s bitter custody battle became a tragedy that ended Tuesday with the father acknowledging he killed their 5-year-old son as his estranged wife gripped an urn with the boy’s ashes and sobbed uncontrollably in the front row of a California courtroom.

Aramazd Andressian Sr., 35, had his hands shackled at the waist and spoke softly when a prosecutor asked him if he willfully killed his son, Aramazd Jr. Andressian simply replied, “Yes.” More here.> DAD ADMITS KILLING SON IN COURT AS MOM SOBS OVER BOY’S ASHES

MERCED, Calif. (AP) — “On a warm August morning last year, charter bus driver Mario David Vasquez was drowsily talking on his cellphone as he weaved his white motor coach through Central California farmland shortly before barreling into a pole, killing four people, seriously wounding many more and nearly slicing the bus in half, prosecutors said Tuesday.

Vasquez’s extreme fatigue, violations of commercial regulations and repeated use of a cellphone while on the road led the Merced County District Attorney on Monday to file four felony counts of vehicular manslaughter and five misdemeanor vehicle code violations against Vasquez in connection with the Aug. 2, 2016 crash near the farming town of Atwater.” More here.> DRIVER CHARGED IN CALIFORNIA BUS WRECK THAT KILLED 4 PEOPLE

“House Judiciary Committee member Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ) called for the resignation of Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who is investigating alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

Franks claimed Mueller’s tenure violates a rule prohibiting special counsels from “conflicts of interest,” the Hill reported. Specifically, Franks cited a “personal relationship” Mueller has with a “person substantially involved in the conduct that is the subject of the investigation or prosecution.”

The Arizona lawmaker cited a Fox News story from mid-May that highlighted the long and close relationship between Mueller and ousted FBI Director James Comey dating back to 2003. Under the Bush administration, Mueller served as the FBI director while Comey was the deputy attorney general.” More here.> GOP Rep. Trent Franks called on Special Counsel Robert Mueller to resign

“Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz is coming under mounting pressure to explain why she kept an IT aide on the payroll for months after a criminal investigation was revealed, facing calls from Republicans to testify as well as a newly filed ethics complaint.

Wasserman Schultz, the Florida congresswoman who led the Democratic National Committee until last year, terminated Imran Awan’s “part-time” employment last week, when he was arrested at Dulles International Airport trying to fly to Pakistan. He was charged with a bank fraud count.

But he and other former IT aides for House Democrats have been on investigators’ radar screen for months over concerns about possible double-billing, alleged equipment theft and access to sensitive computer systems. Most lawmakers fired Awan in March, but Schultz kept him on, though he was barred from the House IT network.” More here.> Wasserman Schultz under pressure to testify on ex-IT aide; complaint filed

The taxpayer health care bailout for members of Congress is very real, worth about $12,000 per year for each lawmaker, and utterly indefensible legally or politically.“President Trump is absolutely right. Congress was bailed out of Obamacare, contrary to a provision of the law that terminated their employer coverage. He should direct the Office of Personnel Management to rescind the bailout rule and issue a new rule that conforms to the statute, and he should do it in front of a giant poster of the false documents.

When Congress was debating Obamacare, one of the persistent demands from the American people was that if Congress was redesigning health care systems for millions of others, they should subject themselves and their staff to their own handiwork. The demands worked, and before Obamacare passed the Senate in 2009, a provision was added, Section 1312(d)(3)(D), that requires members of Congress and their staff to buy health insurance through Obamacare exchanges.

After a little-noticed meeting with Senate Democrats in March 2013, Obama personally committed to bail Congress out of paying their own Obamacare premiums. (Congress could have changed the law, but that would have required a vote and political accountability. A deal with Obama was easier.)

Obama directed the Office of Personnel Management to issue a rule (78 Fed. Reg. 60653-01) purporting that Congress, which has thousands of employees, is a small business and therefore: “the DC Health Link Small Business Market administered by the DC Health Benefit Exchange Authority, is the appropriate SHOP from which Members of Congress and designated congressional staff will purchase health insurance in order to receive a Government contribution.”

Publicly, they claimed each individual House and Senate office would file as a small employer. But that was a lie. Instead, the House filed as one small employer and the Senate filed as one. Each claimed to have fewer than 50 employees. Then they signed up 12,000 people. We only know about the filings thanks to Freedom of Information Act litigation by Judicial Watch.” More here.> Trump Should End Obama’s Bailout of Congress’s Health Care

“U.S. Defense officials have detected “highly unusual and unprecedented levels” of North Korean submarine activity and evidence of an “ejection test” just days after Kim Jong Un’s government launched two intercontinental ballistic missile tests,

An ejection test examines a missile’s “cold-launch system,” which deploys high-pressure steam to propel a missile out of a launch canister into the air before its engines ignite. Sunday’s test is the third this month, worrying officials that North Korea will soon be able to launch missiles from submarines.

Following Pyongyang’s uptick in missile activity in recent days, President Trump told reporters at his second Cabinet meeting that he “will handle North Korea.” More here.> The US military detected ‘highly unusual’ levels of North Korean submarine activity

Islam:

ANN ARBOR, MI – “In a settlement agreement, which reads more like an instrument of surrender, Bernards Township (“Township”), New Jersey officials agreed that, in addition to a $3.5 million payment to Islamic Society of Basking Ridge (“ISBR”), residents and citizens of the Township are prohibited from commenting on “Islam” or “Muslims.” at the upcoming public hearing to approve the settlement.  Astonishingly, a federal judge approved the prohibition as a fully enforceable Order of the Court.

As a result of this suppression of speech, the Thomas More Law Center (“TMLC”), a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, yesterday, filed a lawsuit in the New Jersey Federal District Court on behalf of Christopher and Loretta Quick. The lawsuit was filed by TMLC affiliated New Jersey attorney, Michael Hrycak. Mr. Hrycak was assisted by TMLC staff attorney, Tyler Brooks. The TMLC is representing the Quicks without charge.

“Challenging radical Islam in the United States was center stage when Clarion Project’s Raheel Raza testified before the House Subcommittee on National Security.

University of California’s Hatem Bazian, co-founder of the anti-Israel Students for Justice in Palestine, has been calling for intifada in the United States

“t was a matter of time before jihad-minded Muslim leaders in the U.S. started calling for “intifada” (violent uprising) on American soil. It is the result of too much kowtowing by non-Muslim authorities to Islamic supremacists. This brazenness is bound to get much worse, given that there is far too much acceptance today of Palestinian propaganda against Israel, and Palestinian victimology narratives. Even at violence-inciting al-Quds Day rallies, chants of  “Death to Israel” and “Death to America” ring out, with no fear of legal consequences.

An example of this brazenness came earlier this week when a California mosque defended an imam “who prayed that Allah would “annihilate” Jews.” More here.> Muslim professor at University of California calls for ‘intifada’ in America

“It was in mid April that the teenage girl met for the first time with the three men, in connection with a party in an apartment in Södermalm, Stockholm. That same night they exposed her to serious rape in a row, according to the District Court’s verdict announced on Friday.

According to the prosecutor’s description of the course of events, the men together and by mutual agreement have taken hold of the girl and held her arms while they were raping her during the all night.

Early the next morning, the girl alerted her dad in sms that she had been raped. Without jacket and shoes she left the residence and met the dad and alerted the police. Shortly thereafter the three men were arrested.

The district court drops all three

The trial has been on the prosecutor’s line and now condemns two of the men for gross rape to three years in prison. The third man is sentenced to two years in prison for assisting the rape.

They are judged to jointly pay SEK 165,000 in damages to the girl.

The prosecutor demanded that two of the men be expelled from Sweden. The district court is of the opinion that the serious crime justifies expulsion, but has finally landed for men to remain. In one of the cases reference is made to the man’s connection to Sweden, in the second case, for humanitarian reasons.” More here.> Sweden: Judged for gang rape but no expulsion

WASHINGTON, Aug 1 (Reuters) – “The United States will waive environmental rules so extra barriers can be built to bar illegal immigrants from crossing the border with Mexico near San Diego, the Department of Homeland Security said on Tuesday.

The projects, on about 15 miles (24 km) of the frontier extending east from the Pacific Ocean, are part of President Donald Trump’s planned wall between the United States and Mexico.

The DHS said the area near San Diego is one of the busiest U.S. border sections with a high volume of illegal entries and that there was an immediate need to improve the infrastructure.” More here.> U.S. eases environment laws for Mexico border wall near San Diego
