“Should children in kindergarten be taught about transgender people?
That’s the question at the center of a controversy that erupted in June after a transgender student at Rocklin Academy Gateway, a charter school in northern California, brought the children’s book “I Am Jazz” to school to share with classmates. The book chronicles the life of a real-life transgender girl named Jazz Jennings.
In a Monday night vote after an impassioned, emotional debate, the Rocklin school board decided to keep its current literature policies in place, which allow similar types of books to be read to children during story time. But the board passed a provision requiring parents to be given advance notice if a potentially controversial subject matter will be discussed in class.” More here.> California school board will allow transgender books in elementary schools

“Tucker’s Thoughts: Remember when Trump’s claims that the Obama administration wiretapped Trump Tower were dismissed as crazy. Now it appears he may have been right. Our officials are colluding with each other to lie to the public for political reasons.” Tucker: Something ominous is happening in Washington
“Many in the media are diving deeply into minutiae in order to discredit any notion that President Trump might have been onto something in March when he fired off a series of tweets claiming President Obama had “tapped” “wires” in Trump Tower just before the election.
According to media reports this week, the FBI did indeed “wiretap” the former head of Trump’s campaign, Paul Manafort, both before and after Trump was elected. If Trump officials — or Trump himself — communicated with Manafort during the wiretaps, they would have been recorded, too.
But we’re missing the bigger story.” More here.> It looks like Obama did spy on Trump, just as he apparently did to me
