Americas Bias and Hate:
“Once again, The New York Times has maliciously smeared Bill O’Reilly, this time even failing to print a sworn affidavit from his former lawyer, Lis Wiehl, repudiating all allegations against Bill O’Reilly. The Times ignored that evidence, sworn under oath, and chose to rely on unsubstantiated allegations, anonymous sources and incomplete leaked or stolen documents.” More here.> Statement by Mark Fabiani on Behalf of Bill O’Reilly Relating to the New York Times Smear Piece

“The media are now complicit in a blatant cover-up,” Media Research Center (MRC) President Brent Bozell said Monday, blasting the media’s censorship of the developing Uranium scandal involving the Clintons and Obama Administration.
MRC research has revealed that CBS has devoted only 69 seconds to the bombshell story The Hill broke last Tuesday, October 17, while ABC and NBC have still yet to cover it. In that report, it was established that the FBI had found evidence of a Russian bribery plot before the Obama Administration’s controversial 2010 nuclear deal with Moscow.” More here.> Bozell: ‘The Media Are Now Complicit in a Blatant Cover-up’

The revelation came during a federal court hearing in Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit seeking former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails that were sent or received during her tenure from February 2009 to January 31, 2013 (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:15-cv-00687)). The case is before Judge James E. Boasberg.” More here.> Judicial Watch: FBI Recovered 72,000 Pages of Clinton Records
“As Hillary Clinton was beginning her job as President Obama’s chief diplomat, federal agents observed as multiple arms of Vladimir Putin’s machine unleashed an influence campaign designed to win access to the new secretary of State, her husband Bill Clinton and members of their inner circle, according to interviews and once-sealed FBI records.
Some of the activities FBI agents gathered evidence about in 2009 and 2010 were covert and illegal.” More here.> FBI watched, then acted as Russian spy moved closer to Hillary Clinton

“Congressional oversight of the Executive branch is only as smart as the members of Congress doing the oversight.
That’s the lesson learned from media reports yesterday and today from U.S. Senators claiming they had no idea that the U.S. military had ~1,000 soldiers in Niger following the combat deaths of four U.S. Special Forces soldiers after an ambush there near the border with Mali earlier this month.
This seems to be a case of selective amnesia spreading through the halls of the U.S. Senate.
In fact, U.S. Africa Command officials have repeatedly briefed Congress on the troop presence in Niger in recent years.” More here.> Senators Develop Selective Amnesia About US Troop Presence in Niger After Combat Deaths

JERUSALEM (AP) — “In an unusually blunt address to parliament, Israel’s president accused the government Monday of delegitimizing vital democratic institutions as part of a campaign of stifling opposition.
President Reuven Rivlin opened the winter session of parliament with a scathing critique of his former political home — the Likud Party of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. To them, he said, “everything is political.”
Israel’s president fills a mostly ceremonial role and rarely delves into partisan bickering. But Rivlin chose to focus on the growing divisions in Israeli society, pinning much of the blame on the country’s leaders — and its embattled prime minister.” More here.> Israeli president attacks government assault on state bodies

Commentary / Opinion:
“What if the NFL wasn’t a troubled multibillion-dollar business desperate to wriggle out of its national anthem kneeling crisis?
Instead, what if the NFL were a small business, like a diner?
The First Amendment doesn’t apply to the NFL players. It applies only to government. And government can’t tell Americans what they can or can’t say.
The NFL isn’t the federal government, not yet. The NFL is a private business, like a diner, only larger, with lobbyists and stadiums built for NFL owners with billions upon billions of dollars squeezed from taxpayers who can’t possibly afford game tickets.
Rather than argue about the Bill of Rights, can we return to the NFL diner for an open-faced sliced turkey sandwich with gravy, or a feta-spinach omelet?” More here.> What if the NFL were a diner?
“It has always niggled me as to what the always arrogant 44th President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama, actually meant when he was caught on an open microphone telling Russian President Dmitry Medvedev that he needed more “flexibility” from the Russians. They needed to give him “space” since “it was [his] last election” but “after ‘[his] election, [he] would have more flexibility.”
Medvedev’s retort was “I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir.”
While Medvedev may have understood what Obama was saying, most Americans were left quite bewildered by this cryptic message.” More here.> Finally, the Missing Puzzle Piece
