A top prosecutor who is now a deputy for Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe praised then-acting Attorney General Sally Yates after she was fired in January by President Trump for refusing to defend his controversial travel ban.

The email, obtained by Judicial Watch through a federal lawsuit, shows that on the night of Jan. 30, Andrew Weissmann wrote to Yates under the subject line, “I am so proud.”

He continued, “And in awe. Thank you so much. All my deepest respects.”

NFL’s Anthem Surrender Deal Would Send Millions to Soros-Backed Social-Justice Groups

The anthem protests begun by Colin Kaepernick last year, presented the NFL with a critical decision: Choose the side of the anthem protesters. Or choose the fans and customers of their game, who don’t want the sport polluted by politics.

The NFL recently agreed to spend nearly $90 million dollars over the next seven years, to various organizations connected with social justice causes. Several of those groups, have deep connections to billionaire liberal activist George Soros.

The NFL agreement with the players, which includes no requirement that the player protests end, will send cash to Soros-connected groups such as Dream Corps, Center for American Progress, and Campaign for Fair Sentencing.

U.S. Navy Squandered $4 Billion Due to Congressional Failure to Pass Budget

The U.S. Navy has wasted roughly $4 billion in taxpayer money over the past six years due to the repeated failure by Congress to pass a budget that fully funds the military, the secretary of the service said Monday.

“Since 2011, we have put $4 billion in a trashcan, poured lighter fluid on top of it, and burned it,” Sec. Richard Spencer said in remarks at the U.S. Naval Institute’s Defense Forum in Washington.

“It’s enough money that it can buy us the additional capacity and capability that we need. Instead, that $4 billion of taxpayer money has been lost because of inefficiencies [caused by] continuing resolutions,” he added.

Leftist Group that Gets Millions from U.S. Offers to Pay Legal Fees of Arrested Tax Reform Protestors

A leftist nonprofit that offered to pay the legal and transportation expenses of tax reform protestors receives tens of millions of dollars from the government, according to records obtained by Judicial Watch. The New York City-based group, Housing Works, describes itself as a “healing community of people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.” Its mission is to end homelessness and AIDS through advocacy, lifesaving services and businesses that sustain the efforts.

Last week, Housing Works organized a big demonstration in Washington D.C. to protest the Republican tax overhaul and the group plans to return to the Capitol this week to try to keep the measure from passing. A D.C.-based news publication obtained an internal email that reveals Housing Works  encouraged supporters to commit illegal behavior. “We will transport, house and feed you, and deal with all legal support,” reads the email to supporters. “Caveat: if you are far away from DC and expensive to transport, we can probably only fly you if you can risk arrest.” Next to the message is a link to sign up. The group described the protests like this: “The Rs voted and fled the room, but were snagged by reporters in the hallway, surrounded by bird-doggers, and shamed for their disgraceful votes.”

Told Modi privately that country shouldn’t be divided on religious lines: Barack Obama

NEW DELHI: Former US President Barack Obama on Friday said he had “privately” told Prime Minister Narendra Modi that a country should not be divided on sectarian lines and emphasised how the Indian society needed to cherish that Muslims in the country identify themselves as Indians which is not common for minorities in many other countries.”A country shouldn’t be divided on sectarian lines and that is something I have told Prime Minister Modi in person as well as to people in America…People see the differences between each other much too vividly and miss the commonalities. Commonalities are always based on gender and we need to focus on that,” Obama said at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit.Asked how Modi responded to his private message on religious tolerance, Obama dodged a straight reply, saying his goal was not to disclose his private conversations.

California Court Rejects Attempt to Throw Out Judicial Watch Taxpayer Lawsuit Against San Francisco’s Illegal Immigrant Sanctuary Policies

In rejecting the attempt to end the lawsuit, presiding Superior Court Judge Harold Kahn wrote there is “sufficient support at this stage of the case for Ms. Cerletti’s allegation that the Sheriff’s policy prohibiting or restricting release information about suspected priority aliens stands as an obstacle to the accomplishment of Congress’ asserted purpose of enabling federal immigration officials to gain access to inmates who may have violated federal immigration laws.”  The lawsuit may now proceed to discovery.

“As Kate Steinle’s death tragically demonstrates, San Francisco’s sanctuary policy is dangerous and illegal,” stated Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton. “We hope our taxpayer lawsuit can end San Francisco’s unlawful sanctuary policy before more lives are needlessly lost.”

Hannity: The GOP ‘Is a Dead Party’– Morally Corrupt, Weak, Ineffective, Vision-less with No Identity

Asked to discuss the establishment’s “nullification process” to undermine the Trump presidency, Hannity said, “I think the only way to stop it is all of us and all of the people that mobilized in 2016 to get back, organized, fighting every day.”

He went on to speak about the corruption of the “deep state,” which he defined as “those people within the government, a sort of shadow government within the government that have been leaking,” as in the case of General Flynn. “They destroyed this man’s life,” said Hannity.

Hannity went through the various connections between all the players behind the scenes that have worked together to try to undermine the Trump presidency. “What we’ve now done is criminalize political differences,” he said, calling it “a silent coup.”

Sea change in immigration policy

There is a verse in the Jeremiah 51 that says, “Surely I will fill thee with men, as with locusts, and they shall lift up a battle cry against you.” This is about Babylon falling to invaders as judgment for how Babylon treated God’s people. Today, the United States faces a similar situation as did Babylon—invaders who will lift a battle cry against us. It is a self-inflicted condition because of past presidents allowing immigration and even colonization of our country by those who would violently overthrow it. All in the name of political correctness, even the false narrative that Islam is the religion of peace—basically the most violent religion known to mankind. That is all changing under the current President.
