Jose Alba, 62, was released from Rikers Island on Thursday evening after his bail was lowered from $250,000 to $50,000, and returned to his Hamilton Heights home wearing an electronic monitor and accompanied by one of his sons. He was only required to pay $5,000.
His fellow bodega workers are now saying they will not let him return to work because they fear the victim’s friends will come to harm him.
‘We’re not letting him come back,’ a Blue Moon Convenience store worker named Wilson told the New York Post.
Wilson said his victim’s ‘friends and family’ now know where Alba works and his coworkers fear it’s a ‘death sentence’ if he returns to his post.
Report: Joe Biden Sold Nearly One Million Barrels from U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve to CCP-Owned Oil Company Linked to Hunter Biden Firm
In April, Biden’s Department of Energy announced the nearly one million barrel sale to Unipec, which is the trading arm of Sinopec. Sinopec is wholly owned and operated by the Chinese Communist Party.
Unipec reportedly purchases oil across the globe and then apparently sells it through its Sinopec Marketing subsidiary.
Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, reportedly has financial ties to the CCP-owned Sinopec. A private equity firm Hunter Biden cofounded reportedly purchased a nearly $2 billion stake in Sinopec Marketing in 2015.
As the Free Beacon reported:
Biden is connected to Sinopec through BHR Partners, a private equity firm he cofounded in 2013. BHR bought a $1.7 billion stake in Sinopec Marketing in 2015. Biden at one point owned a 10 percent stake in BHR Partners through his wholly owned firm, Skaneateles, LLC.
Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition Maj. Gen. Cameron Holt made the remark during a speech in San Diego in June, according to The Drive.
“In purchasing power parity, they spend about one dollar to our 20 dollars to get to the same capability,” Holt was quoted as saying. “We are going to lose if we can’t figure out how to drop the cost and increase the speed in our defense supply chains.”
Holt said “I believe that part of our job as senior leaders is to be candid with the American public and to be candid with our industry partners about the challenges that we face.”
“They have a larger Navy than we do, and they are making great strides in their military capabilities to keep us out of the Pacific region,” Holt said.

Patriots for America is a Christian group, whose website says it is dedicated to “fight to defend everyone’s Constitutional rights while helping protect our borders and working together with law enforcement to rescue minors and children from sex trafficking.”
The group arrived at the border last year, conducts monthly rotations and has been working with law enforcement, including the sheriff of Kinney County. It is part of a number of actions counties across the state, as well as the state itself, are taking to deal with the surge in illegal immigrants coming across the border.

Ex-Boyfriend of Disgraced Theranos Founder Elizabeth Holmes Found Guilty of Defrauding Investors, Patients
Balwani joined Theranos’s board in 2009 and served as company president and chief operating officer until 2016. A federal jury has now found Balwani guilty of 12 counts of wire fraud and conspiracy following a lengthy trial that faced numerous delays due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Each count against Balwani carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and a fine of $250,000. Balwani may also be ordered to pay restitution. His sentence will be determined by a judge at a later date.
Balwani’s verdict comes months after Holmes was convicted of one count of conspiring to defraud and three counts of defrauding investors and acquitted of defrauding patients. Holmes is due to be sentenced in September but her lawyers have stated plans to appeal the ruling.
Earlier this year, the 14 members of the Baltimore City Council received an almost $2,000 pay raise, a 2.5 percent bump.

Politico’s Friday morning “Playbook” reported that on “Wednesday night, D.C. protesters targeting the conservative Supreme Court justices who signed onto the Dobbs decision overturning the constitutional right to abortion got a tip that Justice BRETT KAVANAUGH was dining at Morton’s downtown D.C. location.”
According to the account, “Protesters soon showed up out front, called the manager to tell him to kick Kavanaugh out and later tweeted that the justice was forced to exit through the rear of the restaurant.”
Politico reporter Daniel Lippman confirmed the story on Friday morning, tweeting, “NEW: Justice Brett Kavanaugh had to exit through the rear of Morton’s on Wednesday night after DC protestors showed up out front. A Morton’s rep told me: ‘Politics … should not trample the freedom at play of the right to congregate and eat dinner.’”
The Summer of Rage is in full swing and Democrats won’t condemn vandalism or violence done in the name of abortion rights because that’s the strategy: vandalism and violence.

Local Police and FBI Visit Home of Top Opponent to New China-Owned North Dakota Corn Mill — After She Posts Paragraph from Declaration of Independence on Social Media
The Chinese firm Fufeng Group recently purchased 300 acres of farmland in North Dakota just down the road from a US Air Force base that houses sensitive drone technology near Grand Forks.
The farmland is just a 20-minute drive to the Grand Forks Air Force Base.
The Fufeng Group also purchased a corn mill near Grand Forks. Local citizens are rightly concerned with this new project in their backyard.
The local Grand Forks City Council members are very upset with leading opponents to the Fufeng corn mill project. They have even lashed out at skeptics online.

Here is what Jodi Carlson posted on Facebook that warranted a visit by the Stasi FBI.
Oregon Department of Education paying $1.9 million to train teachers against Western values of ‘individualism’
The total cost for the 23-month project will be $1,929,637.50. The fellowship will teach at most 600 educators how to create “racially affirming environments” in their classrooms. Affirming means that the teachers’ identities are “seen” and “honored” in classrooms, ODE told Fox News Digital.
The fellowship will “deepen educators’ understanding… of the individual, the institutional and the systemic impacts of racism on schools and communities.” Fellows will create their own project “that disrupts a racist pattern/practice/policy, or works towards liberation/equity/decolonization.”
The fellowship is funded by Oregon’s Student Success Act, which planned to invest $2 billion in K-12 education, for the purpose of “improving access and opportunities for students who have been historically underserved in the education system.”
In order to qualify, grant applicants must demonstrate an “equity lens or tool” in order to “ensure that no focal group or community is ignored in the process of community engagement and plan development.
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin’s conservative-controlled Supreme Court ruled Friday that absentee ballot drop boxes may be placed only in election offices, dealing critical defeats to Democrats in the battleground state.
The court did not address the question of whether anyone other than the voter can return his or her own ballot by mail. Election officials and others had argued that drop boxes are a secure and convenient way for voters to return ballots.

“The American Rescue Plan massively overstimulated the economy and caused inflation,” said Douglas Holtz-Eakin, president of the conservative think tank American Action Forum. “It was a major fiscal policy error. One of the worst in my lifetime.”
While it might be expected that conservatives would bash the bill — the Biden administration’s only bill passed on a partisan basis via reconciliation — criticisms have emerged from Democrats as well.
Larry Summers, who served in the Clinton and Obama administrations, blasted the bill as the “least responsible” economic policy he’d seen in 40 years due to its inflationary potential. Summers is now forecasting a recession.

San Francisco-based food delivery company DoorDash formed a political action committee on Thursday, allowing it to directly donate to political campaigns and parties.
DoorDash’s new PAC, dubbed DashPAC, is the latest move by the company to grow its political footprint in Washington. It began growing its team of lobbyists in 2020 at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, according to Politico.
“We’re looking forward to supporting those who share our values and mission of growing and empowering local economies,” a DoorDash spokesperson wrote in an email to The Hill.

Cheney’s campaign decisions have drawn CNN’s attention; the outlet issued a stark warning to Cheney on Wednesday in an article entitled “Liz Cheney Is in a Lot of Trouble in Wyoming.”
“A look at the data reveals that Cheney should be regarded as the clear underdog in her efforts to retain her seat,” the article stated.
As Cheney is away in Washington, Hageman may have the clear advantage heading into the August primary. “Liz Cheney has lost Wyoming. Liz Cheney doesn’t live in Wyoming. She doesn’t represent us,” Hageman told Breitbart News. “She doesn’t represent our values.”
The actions he outlined are intended to mitigate some potential penalties women seeking abortion may face after the ruling but are limited in their ability to safeguard access to abortion nationwide.
Biden acknowledged the limitations facing his office, saying it would require an act of Congress to restore access to abortion in the more than a dozen states where strict limits or total bans have gone into effect in the wake of the Supreme Court’s ruling. About a dozen more states are set to impose additional restrictions in the coming weeks and months.
Biden formalized instructions to the Departments of Justice and Health and Human Services to push back on efforts to limit the ability of women to access federally approved abortion medication or to travel across state lines to access clinical abortion services. He was joined by Vice President Kamala Harris, HHS secretary Xavier Becerra and Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco in the Roosevelt Room as he signed the order.

Ratcliffe: Biden Gets Advice from Former and Current Employees of ‘Collaborative’ with China BlackRock
On Thursday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” John Ratcliffe, who served as Director of National Intelligence under former President Donald Trump, argued that the Biden administration is “one of the worst offenders” when it comes to ignoring warnings from FBI Director Christopher Wray about the threat of China and part of this is due to Biden getting advice from people who worked for BlackRock, an investment firm that he says “has been more collaborative and complicit with the Chinese Communist Party, soft on China than anyone.”
And that unless the Biden administration approaches China with the right mindset, “China’s going to continue to be aggressive and to bully and to be more forthright and move, not just in the Indo-Pacific, but around the world.”
Ratcliffe stated, “It’s like when you look out the passenger side window of your car, you see the words, ‘Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear.’ And in this case, that’s China, and that’s what — the warning that Director Wray gave yesterday and that he’s been giving for years and that many of us have been giving. …
China does intend to own the control points in the global marketplace and in geopolitics. They intend to dominate economically, technologically, militarily, and they are willing to spy and steal and lie and cheat their way to superiority.

So far this year there have been several violent incidents across France involving suspects shouting the phrase “Allahu Akbar,” Arabic for “God is Great”.
Exclusive Video: Top Tory Rebel Says Post-BoJo Govt Must Return to Conservative Values, Start Fracking
The MP for North West Leicestershire, Andrew Bridgen, who was one of the forces behind forcing the resignation of Prime Minister Boris Johnson, said that the Conservative Party cannot continue to score own-goals by pushing left-wing agenda items of the Labour Party but rather implement the small-c conservative policies to deal with the domestic and international challenges facing the UK.
“I’ve served on the benches of three Conservative governments for three different prime ministers, this is the government that had the biggest Conservative majority and yet it’s probably the least conservative government I’ve served in,” Bridgen told Breitbart London. “What we need to do now is to elect a real conservative as a leader on real conservative principles.”
In particular, Bridgen said that the government that follows Boris Johnson should reject his green agenda and focus on more practical forms of achieving energy independence, calling for an immediate return to fracking and using the oil reserves in the North Sea while developing small-scale, modular nuclear power reactors.
Russian President Vladimir Putin accused the West of waging a proxy war in Ukraine on Thursday and said that the world should know the war is just beginning, nearly five months after launching the invasion.
“Everybody should know that largely speaking, we haven’t even yet started anything in earnest,” Putin told parliamentary leaders.
“The course of history is unstoppable, and attempts by the collective West to enforce its version of the global order are doomed to fail.”
For the first time in weeks, Putin also claimed that Russia is willing to sit down for peace talks with Ukraine, warning that “the longer it lasts the more difficult it will be for them to make a deal with us.”
Former Japanese Prime Minister Abe Shinzo spent much of his public effort in the months leading up to his assassination on Friday advocating for defending the nation of Taiwan from a potential Chinese invasion, outraging the Communist Party into threatening a “bloodbath” if he did not stop.
Abe served as prime minister for a year in 2006 and again from 2012 to 2020, making him the country’s longest-serving leader in that role. He resigned in 2020, citing a longtime struggle with ulcerative colitis that had also curtailed his first term in office, but he remained a prominent figure in Japanese and international politics in the two years following his second resignation.
Abe died on Friday after an assassin, identified as Yamagami Tetsuya, shot him twice with what reports currently indicate appeared to be a homemade firearm. Japanese media report that Yamagami confessed to the crime but claimed to not have a “political grudge” against the former prime minister.
Trump described his shock at the shooting which later claimed Abe’s life, as Breitbart News reported.
“Absolutely devastating news that former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan, a truly great man and leader, has been shot, and is in very serious condition,” Trump said in a statement.
“He was a true friend of mine and, much more importantly, America. This is a tremendous blow to the wonderful people of Japan, who loved and admired him so much. We are all praying for Shinzo and his beautiful family!
Trump and Abe met several times while both men were in office and kept up the key alliance between Japan and the U.S. in the face of increasing regional activity by China.
