In recent years, the SPLC has been the center of a number of controversies revolving around its decisions to classify certain individuals as bigoted or racist.

Most recently, the SPLC targeted the right-leaning educational YouTube channel PragerU, claiming the channel has “ties to the radical right.”

In March and April, the SPLC has been forced to delete four separate articles accusing various individuals or organizations as having ties to hate groups after their accuracy was challenged.

The controversial Southern Poverty Law Center has reached a settlement to anti-extremist organization Quilliam resulting in an apology and a $3.375-million payment for wrongly naming the group and its founder as anti-Muslim extremists.

Claim that Roundup caused man’s cancer goes to trial in California

A trial is getting underway in California today in which a consumer who used Monsanto’s weedkiller Roundup claims the product caused his cancer.

Forty-six year-old Dewayne Johnson is the first of hundreds of plaintiffs against the chemical giant to have his case heard in court. Johnson worked as a school groundskeeper and, during the course of his job, says he regularly used Roundup to keep grass and weeds under control.

Johnson’s case was bumped to the top of the heap after his attorney informed the court that his client was near death. Under California law, dying patients have the right to an expedited court hearing.

DOJ Inspector General is Investigating James Comey For Potential Mishandling of Classified Information

Texas officer arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting 4-year-old girl, threatening mom with deportation

A Texas detention deputy accused of having sexually assaulted a young child whose mother is undocumented has been arrested.

Jose Nunez, a 10-year veteran of the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, was arrested Sunday and charged with super aggravated sexual assault of a child, who is possibly a relative, according to Sheriff Javier Salazar. The charge is considered “super” because the victim is only 4 years old.

Kathy Griffin Attacks Melania Trump in Profanity-Laced Tirade

Mrs. Trump issued a statement on the controversial illegal immigration policy that results in children being separated from their parents, a policy used frequently by Barack Obama.

“Mrs. Trump hates to see children separated from their families & hopes both sides of the aisle can finally come together to achieve successful immigration reform,” she said in a statement to Fox News. “She believes we need to be a country that follows all laws but also a country that governs w/heart.”

Griffin decided she desperately needed some attention and what better way than to attack the first lady over a simple compassionate statement?

Trump-bashing Puerto Rican mayor reportedly facing FBI corruption probe

The mayor of Puerto Rico who shot to international fame after criticizing President Trump for not doing enough to help Hurricane Maria victims is being investigated by the FBI on corruption charges, according to multiple news outlets.

San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz and her administration are under fire for allegedly obstructing critical supplies from reaching victims of the category-4 hurricane that leveled much of the tiny U.S. territory nearly nine months ago.

The FBI reportedly launched the investigation following a February lawsuit filed by Yadira Molina, the former director of procurement. Molina claims she was retaliated against for reporting “alleged irregular acts” to the local comptroller.

Trump orders establishment of ‘space force’ as 6th branch of military

President Trump vowed on Monday to make space great again.

Speaking at a meeting of the National Space Council, Trump ordered the Pentagon to immediately establish a national “space force” that would become the sixth branch of the armed forces.

“We are going to have a space force,” Trump said in Washington D.C. “An Air Force and a Space Force. Separate, but equal.”

Trump did not go into details about what military role the so-called “space force” would carry out or who would command it, but he framed space as a national security issue, saying he does not want “China and Russia and other countries leading us.”

The president said the United States will “be the leader by far” in space and is looking to revive the nation’s flagging space program by returning the United States to the moon and soon reaching Mars.

Justice Department asks SCOTUS to lift nationwide block on anti-sanctuary-city policy

The Trump administration asked the Supreme Court to lift the bulk of an order preventing the Justice Department from implementing a policy to limit federal grants to cities, counties and states that don’t cooperate with federal immigration enforcement.

The Justice Department filed an emergency application with the high court Monday, asking it to stay a nationwide injunction that a federal judge in Chicago issued in September blocking the new policy.

Thousands Of Illegal Aliens Arrested For Violent Crimes Were Granted DACA Protections

The constitutionally questionable program initiated by the Obama White House is the reason immigration became a primary action item. The Trump administration announced last year that they were going to wind down the program, citing White House lawyers’ inability to defend the shaky law.

There are some bad people who have obtained protections—and it’s not just misdemeanor antics. We’re taking assault, rape, DUIs, and even a couple cases of child pornography. All of these people were granted DACA protections, despite prior arrests. All told, over 53,792 illegal aliens were granted protections despite some serious run-ins with law enforcement. The figures about these applicants who enrolled into the DACA program this morning are from the years 2012-2018.

Texas Police Chief Blocked Homeland Security

San Antonio Police Chief William McManus turned away a Department of Homeland Security agent before freeing a dozen illegal aliens, according to a DHS investigative report.

The agent from Homeland Security Investigations offered to help police interview 12 illegals found stashed in a truck on Dec. 23. But the agent was told “no” by the chief who said he did not want HSI to “scare people.”

McManus said his department would handle the case and kept the agent away from the migrants, even though only one on-duty police detective spoke Spanish. Within 2 ½ hours, all of the illegals were released, with no witness statements taken.

When children are separated from their parents at the border, here is where they go next

Many elements of Casa San Diego, an El Cajon facility for unaccompanied children who arrived at the southern border, seem like what one would expect from a boarding school.

There are classrooms, a play area with soccer goals and a medical clinic with superheroes like Wonder Woman, Superman and the Hulk on the walls.

On closer inspection, details about the California-licensed child care facility run by Southwest Key Programs reflect the situation of the children it serves.

President Donald Trump defiantly held to his administration’s policy to criminally prosecute anyone who illegally crosses the U.S.-Mexico border, during a speech Monday before a meeting of the National Space Council.

“The United States will not be a migrant camp and it will not be a refugee holding facility. It won’t be. You look at what is happening in Europe and other places, we can’t allow it to happen to the United States. Not on my watch,” Trump declared.

Trump’s ‘Zero Tolerance’ Immigration Policy Isn’t New – Obama Did the Same Thing

We know the Obama Administration treated illegal immigrants far less humanely than the Trump Administration. We know that under Obama, minors caught crossing the border were stuffed into the equivalent of dog kennels.Opera

The media hardly made a peep about the Obama Administration’s immigration practices. In fact, California Senator Diane Feinstein admitted to ignoring the issue under the last administration:

Almost 60,000 DACA recipients have been arrested at least once since program began

Almost 60,000 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals recipients have been arrested at least once as a beneficiary of the Obama-era program, according to data released Monday by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

USCIS Director L. Francis Cissna confirmed Monday morning that 59,786 people protected in the program had been arrested while a DACA recipient, which is 8.5 percent of the total 700,000 recipients.

In addition, 53,792 DACA beneficiaries had been arrested prior to being approved by the Department of Homeland Security agency to be part of the DACA program, which grants recipients legal protections from deportation for two-year periods.

Audi CEO arrested in diesel emissions cheating investigation

Rupert Stadler, the CEO of Volkswagen’s Audi division, was arrested on Monday over “concerns over potential evidence tampering” in the probe of Volkswagen’s diesel-emissions cheating case.

The arrest comes one week after the executive’s home was raided by authorities, who afterwards named him a suspect in their investigation into fraud and falsifying public documents in relation to the “dieselgate” scandal.

Last week, Volkswagen also agreed to pay a fine of about $1.16 billion for failing to properly supervise the staff members who came up with the software used to cheat emissions tests.

Stadler’s is the highest-profile arrest in the ongoing investigation into Volkswagen’s manipulation of emissions controls, which first came to light in 2015.

Gruesome rape, murder of Kashmir girl raises tensions

The gang rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir earlier this year has drawn international media attention, and cast an uneasy spotlight on the horrific and often underreported abuses in the long-running territorial battle between Hindu-dominant India and Muslim-majority Pakistan.

“The conflict has reached its worse point. There are gross and systematic human rights violations happening every day,” Sardar Masood Khan, recently told Fox News. “These are designed to crush the will of the Kashmiri people.”

Asifa Bano, an eight-year-old Muslim belonging to a nomadic tribe and living in a Hindu-majority of Jammu, ventured into the forest to round up the horses in the afternoon of Jan. 10, but never came home. Five days later her mutilated body was discovered – visibly tortured, with both legs broken.

Tommy Robinson Sends a Letter from His Prison Cell in HMP Hull

In the first few days here I began to hear that thousands are protesting outside 10 Downing Street. This was within 24 horus of my abduction by the state. I was told ‘your petition has 100,000’, then ‘hey its now at 300,000’ and then half a million. I heard people were climbing the gates of Downing Street.

I thought the people telling me must be getting it wrong. They must be confused with our Day for Freedom demo. I was completely unaware what was unfolding outside of the prison was a world wide FREE TOMMY movement.

I was in danger in my first days in this prison, housed with Muslim prisoners, then something changed. I was whisked from my cell and wing and taken and separated to safety. I believe now this was the moment Lord Pearson spoke up about my safety. His actions could have literally saved my life.

Tommy Robinson Still Locked Up in Mostly Muslim Prison While Muslim Activist Who Beat Policeman Spared Prison

Sergeant Rooney had told the court how the attack had left his face so badly damaged that his children would not walk to school with him, and claimed he had been left with post-traumatic stress.

Nevertheless, despite the violent nature of Mohamad’s attack and his decision to claim he was acting in self-defence and plead not guilty, the judge appeared to buy the picture painted by the defence of a sickly man with multiple illnesses, who had “shown genuine remorse”.

“You’re a man of sixty-two and of good character,” the judge said – a sightly curious assessment, given Mohamad just been convicted for assaulting causing actual bodily harm against an on-duty police officer.

He then handed down a six-month sentence, but suspended it so Mohammed was able to walk free without actually having to serve any time in prison, unless he reoffends.

Women Bear the Brunt of Honor Violence in Ramadan

Ramadan in France was peppered by acts of honor violence. Two brothers in the eastern French city of Nancy beat up their sister because she was having a love affair, reported Le Parisien newspaper. The French attorney general’s office initiated proceedings against the two men for “barbarous acts, torture, willful aggravated violence, attempted murder and repeated death threats.”

The elder brother, aged 36, learned that his sister, a 25-year-old bank clerk, was living with a man. He went to her apartment and reprimanded her for having an extra-marital relationship and dressing indecently.

After throwing the boyfriend out of the apartment, he proceeded to beat up his sister, cutting her hair with a knife and inflicting a wound of several inches.

Who needs a nurse? This robot can extract and analyze your blood

Developed by researchers from Rutgers University, the robotic device is comprised of three subsystems. First up is a robotic venipuncture device, which uses near-infrared and ultrasound imaging to localize blood vessels, image analysis to reconstruct the vessels in 3D, and then miniaturized robotics to place a needle in the center of the indicated vein.

Once a blood sample has been taken, it is then moved — using a sample handling module — to an analysis unit. This part of the system provides blood measurements using a miniaturized centrifuge and microscope. At present, it can perform a three-part white blood cell differential and hemoglobin measurement.

Show me a man or woman of great accomplishment, who in public has what amounts to an obscenity-spewing temper tantrum, and I’ll show you an adult fixated in childhood, in essence a child who has no self-control, no concern about the effect vile language has on young viewers, no respect for community norms, no awareness of his or her infantilism.

And the support that such a person receives—as Robert De Niro’s standing ovation at the recent 2018 Tony Awards attests—is a testimony to the uniform immaturity of his show business colleagues.

That’s right, when De Niro stood up and practically spat into the microphone: “I’m just going to say one thing—F…Trump! It’s no longer ‘down with Trump.’ It’s ‘f… Trump!’” The crowd of like-minded children jumped to their feet to applaud the vulgarity.

More overgrown children

As I said, children. Examples abound….here is a teeny tiny sample:

We Will Create and Control Our Own Dystopia

Hello, this is Darrell Castle with today’s Castle Report. Today is Friday, April 6, 2018, and on today’s Report I will be talking about what is and what is to come in the world of social credit.  You are all familiar with credit scores and how important they are to everyday living.  Whether or not you can buy a house, a car or get a credit card all depend on your credit score and so does the interest rate you must pay for the money you are allowed to borrow.

In a sense, we could say that our credit score, which is compiled by private organizations from private transactions, determines how trustworthy we are in the world of credit which as we all know, is money today.

That system of social credit I just described is here now in China, and coming our way very quickly.  In what it calls an attempt to promote “trustworthiness” in its economy and society, China is experimenting with a social credit system that mixes familiar Western-style credit scores with more intrusive measures.  It includes everything that can be assembled about a person, including such things as rankings by online payment providers to scores compiled by neighborhood associations or companies you work for or do business with.  High scores are rewarded with perks, such as discounts on heating bills and lower interest loans while lower scores are restricted from buying train or plane tickets.  In other words, if you have a low score your movements are restricted.

What Is Intersectionality?

Intersectionality is the newest fad in political activism. What is it? Who’s involved? And, what does it even mean? Nobody is better prepared to answer these questions than Daily Wire editor-in-chief and podcast sensation, Ben Shapiro. He breaks it all down in this invaluable video.
