Brouillette spoke with Breitbart News Daily host Alex Marlow regarding America’s leadership to reduce pollution, President Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Paris climate treaty, and new initiatives the DOE is pursuing to reduce carbon emissions.

His interview with Breitbart News Daily follows as Energy Secretary Rick Perry plans to step down, and Trump nominated Brouillette to be the next secretary.

Trump announced late Wednesday night that he will confirm one of his key 2016 presidential campaign promises by withdrawing from the Paris climate agreement.

Brouillette said that the country, under Trump, has managed to reduce emissions beyond other Paris treaty signatories while growing the American economy.

“There is not a single signatory to that accord that has come close to the United States’ record on the environment,” Brouillette said. “Not a single signatory.”

Catholic priests in Colorado sexually abused over 160 children in the past 70 years

The report, compiled by the Colorado Attorney General’s office with the support of the state’s three Catholic dioceses, found over 120 incidents of abuse in the Archdiocese of Denver, at least 36 incidents in the Diocese of Pueblo, and at least three instances of abuse in the Diocese of Colorado Springs going back to 1950.

An examination of diocesan records in conjunction with follow-up investigations found most of the victims were boys between the ages of 10 and 14, and just five priests were responsible for 102 cases of abuse.

Archbishop Samuel Aquila of Denver issued an apology “for the pain and hurt that this abuse has caused.”

Florida Senate votes to permanently remove sheriff criticized for Parkland shooting response

The Senate on Wednesday voted 25-15 to oust Israel, who Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis suspended in January.

The vote was largely along party lines, with three Democrats voting for it and one Republican voting against the move.

DeSantis, who promised during his 2018 gubernatorial campaign to remove Israel, said he hopes the decision “provides some measure of relief to the Parkland families that have been doggedly pursuing accountability.”

Israel, who was first elected in 2012, has said he will run again in 2020. He claims that the move was political in nature.

Video: Wrong order leads to customer-manager food fight at McDonald’s

The video shows Price come inside the restaurant with what she said was a messed-up order.

As she waited, other customers came and went.

“I wasn’t the only one that got frustrated, you know, watching the video we see a lot of people that see me and her talking, trying to resolve the issue and they’re, like, ‘I’m not dealing with this,’ you know. They just left. They didn’t even place their order,” she said.

The time code of the video shows after waiting about 23 minutes, Price goes to the car to grab the rest of her order to ask for a refund.

Video Surfaces Of “Trans” Child From Texas Custody Battle Saying His Mother Tells Him He’s A Girl

“James violently refuses to wear girl’s clothes at my home,” said Younger.

Other instances where James has exhibited preferences for being male pop up everywhere from being with friends to testimony from his own transition therapist.

The transition therapist, for instance, observed that James is oddly inconsistent when it comes to wanting to be “Luna.”

At one point, James was presented with two pieces of paper, one with the word “James” and one with the word “Luna,” and asked to pick the name he preferred. When in the presence of his mother, he chose “Luna.” When in the presence of his father, he chose “James.”

Others have been eyewitnesses to James’s boyish behavior, including Bill Lovell, the senior pastor of Christ Church Carrollton and a family friend, Ellen Grigsby.

Younger argues James is a happy boy and that “social transition” or “medical transition” would not be in his best interest

James’ mom, who is divorced from Jeff Younger, initially filed a petition for joint conservatorship which required Younger to affirm the child’s identity by using the name “Luna,” something recommended by James’ therapists.

In response, Younger filed for sole custody. But on Monday, a jury returned a verdict in favor of Georgulas.

Although a judge will have the final say over the custody battle Thursday afternoon, Gov. Greg Abbott, a Republican, waded into the controversy Wednesday night as the case began making ripples nationwide, saying the state will be reviewing the case.

“FYI the matter of 7 year old James Younger is being looked into by the Texas Attorney General’s Office and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services,” Abbott tweeted.

“So, before the race, my name was originally on the bib,” Moon told Fox News.

“One day I got a thought — I thought it was from God and that it should be a profession of faith — and changed it to ‘Jesus Saves,’ so that another runner or someone in the audience would see it … that Jesus saves us for eternity.”

The former college football player, who has no history of heart trouble, was running eight-minute miles until the eighth mile, when he collapsed, cracking his head on the pavement, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

Hundreds of Doctors and Nurses in Northern Ireland Refuse to Kill Babies in Abortions

Recently, 911 medical professionals signed a letter in opposition to legalized abortion in their country, the Independent reports.

Initiated by Northern Ireland GP Andrew Cupples, the letter urged the government to protect unborn babies’ rights as well as the rights of medical professionals to practice their beliefs.

On Tuesday, the country was forced to abandon its protections for unborn babies after the British government voted to force Northern Ireland to legalize abortion for basically any reason up to 28 weeks of pregnancy.

The vote happened because Northern Ireland has not had a functioning government for about three years.

Its political leaders had until midnight on Monday to re-form a government and reject the law. Pro-life lawmakers made several attempts to, but they did not succeed.

Pentagon ‘likely’ deploying tanks to Syria, officials say

Russian forces patrol in the city of Amuda, north Syria, Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019. Syrian forces, Russian military advisers and military police are being deployed in a zone 30 kilometers (19 miles) deep along much of the northeastern border, under an agreement reached Tuesday by Russia and Turkey. (AP)

The tanks will come from a unit already deployed to the Middle East, the officials said. The potential deployment was first reported by Newsweek.

The plans come one day after President Trump announced a “permanent” cease-fire in northeast Syria and said a “small number” of U.S. troops would guard oil fields previously held by ISIS and now in Syrian Kurdish hands.

“Turkey put us all in a very terrible situation. I think the incursion was unwarranted. I think President Erdogan was fixated on making this incursion for one reason or another, and there was not a possibility we were going to start a war with a NATO ally. A NATO ally,” Mark Esper said.

“The direction of Turkey with regard to the alliance is heading in the wrong direction, Esper added. “We see them spinning closer to Russia’s orbit.”

Victor Davis Hanson: US fears nuclear nightmare with unreliable ally – A scary ‘Doctor Strangelove’ scenario

Commentary/Opinion: Turkey in the past has threatened to go nuclear itself should the U.S. ever dare to transfer the lethal arsenal.

Apparently, Turkey’s theory is that possession of bombs in one’s territory is 9/10ths of the law of nuclear weapons ownership.

In the aftermath of the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974, which led to a U.S. arms embargo, Turkey shut down all U.S. operations at Incirlik.

American forces were expelled for three years — until Washington caved and resumed arms supplies.

Under Islamist strongman Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey has become NATO’s only non-democratic nation. It’s also NATO’s only Muslim-majority member.

Erdogan has been trying to re-create Turkey as a new Ottoman imperial power. He feels no allegiance to Western-style democracy.

Turkey opposes, if not detests, almost every American ally in the region, and befriends almost every U.S. enemy.

Greenpeace: Germany shipping 12,000 tons of radioactive waste to Russia

Greenpeace (Nick Amoscato/Flickr)

Citing German government documents, Greenpeace and anti-nuclear group Ekozashchita (Ecodefense) said the nuclear waste, coming from enrichment company Urenco at its German Gronau facility, poses a risk because it is radioactive and toxic.

The Urenco contract with Russian nuclear-fuel giant Teksnabeksport (Tenex), an affiliate of the state-run nuclear corporation Rosatom, is from 2019 to 2022 and foresees the shipment of 12,000 tons of uranium tails to Novouralsk, near Yekaterinburg.

In a statement cited by TASS news agency on October 23, Tenex called Greenpeace’s statements “absolutely inconsistent with reality and are disinformation.”

The company insisted it was not importing “radioactive waste.”

Tenex said it enriches the depleted uranium and sends it back overseas.
