ISIS wife from Alabama will not be admitted to the US, Pompeo says

Hoda Muthana
Hoda Muthana

“Ms. Hoda Muthana is not a U.S. citizen and will not be admitted into the United States,” Pompeo said in a statement.

“She does not have any legal basis, no valid U.S. passport, no right to a passport, nor any visa to travel to the United States. We continue to strongly advise all U.S. citizens not to travel to Syria.”

The newspaper says Muthana, during her time with ISIS, lived in their once-stronghold of Raqqa and was married to jihadists from Australia, Tunisia, and Syria – the first two of which have been killed in battle.

Supreme Court curbs power of government to impose heavy fines and seize property

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who returned to the court for the first time in almost two months after undergoing surgery for lung cancer, wrote the majority opinion in the case involving an Indiana man who had his Land Rover seized after he was arrested for selling $385 of heroin.

“Protection against excessive fines has been a constant shield throughout Anglo-American history for good reason: Such fines undermine other liberties,” Ginsburg wrote.

“They can be used, e.g., to retaliate against or chill the speech of political enemies. They can also be employed, not in service of penal purposes, but as a source of revenue.”

Trump cheers Covington student’s lawsuit against Washington Post: ‘Go get them Nick’

The suit is seeking $250 million in compensatory and punitive damages.

In an early morning tweet Wednesday, Trump threw his support behind Sandmann, writing: “Covington student suing WAPO. Go get them Nick. Fake News!”

The lawsuit, which was filed in federal court in Kentucky, accused the Post of practicing “a modern-day form of McCarthyism” by targeting Nicholas Sandmann and “using its vast financial resources to enter the bully pulpit by publishing a series of false and defamatory print and online articles … to smear a young boy who was in its view an acceptable casualty in their war against the president.”

FDA warns about the dangers of anti-aging young blood transfusions

The idea of blood being some kind of youth restorative has been enshrined in folklore for years.

However, as this Digital Trends article makes clear, it has gained momentum in recent years, through controversial efforts like the plasma treatment startup Ambrosia.

Plenty of people in the scientific community have dismissed this kind of thing as being pseudoscientific snake oil — but clearly, there is enough interest in it that the FDA felt the need to come forward and offer its own warning.

Christian adoption agency sues New York after state tries to shut it down

New Hope Family Services is a non-profit that serves as an adoptive provider and pregnancy center since 1965.

The New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) initially praised the organization after a site visit but took issue with the group’s child placement policy after reviewing its manual.

OCFS told New Hope to revise its policy of placing children with a married mother and father or end the adoption program. New Hope filed a lawsuit against the state in December for targeting their religious beliefs.

Chinese Subversion on Full Display in New York

In New York City, CCP United Front operations have been on full display in Flushing, a Chinese neighborhood in Queens.

There, Chinese agents and individuals with exposed ties to the CCP have taken part in a campaign of violence, intimidation, and harassment since 2008—mainly targeted at people who practice the persecuted Chinese meditation practice of Falun Gong.

During the annual Lunar New Year parade in Flushing on Feb. 9, more than 100 large red flags of the CCP were seen lining the main street of the parade route. The individuals who held the flags were evenly spaced, standing roughly six feet apart.

The protests were staged, and several of the participants said, in undercover video footage taken by The Epoch Times and NTD Television, that they had received money from the CCP agitators. There also was footage showing how the scene was orchestrated by CCP-tied groups, with individuals apparently acting as coordinators, handing out the flags.

Selfie-seeking Texas teenager survives fall off bridge, hopes near-death experience serves as warning

Triston Bailey was reportedly with a group of friends headed home from a Dallas Stars game on Nov. 12 when the group decided to pull over for a selfie on the Margaret McDermott Bridge along Interstate 30, hoping to get the perfect shot of the city’s skyline behind them.

“I was going over the concrete barriers and they heard me exclaim. They thought I was joking and that I was trying to mess with them that I fell,” the 18-year-old told FOX4.

“But then they said they looked over and, just like the movies, I’m just laid out there on the dirt.”

He then bludgeoned her to death with the bat in a prolonged beating.

Report Lists ‘Inane’, ‘Comical’ College Courses, Including ‘Gender in Gaming’, ‘Unsettling Whiteness’

Young America’s Foundation (YAF), a self-described “outreach organization of the Conservative Movement,” has been reviewing college course offerings at dozens of America’s most prestigious colleges and universities since 1995 “to document the intellectual abuse and flat-out indoctrination” of students there.

The 2018/2019 edition of the “Comedy and Tragedy” report lists more than 250 courses at more than 50 institutions.

“Many of the courses and descriptions listed in this year’s report may seem comical at first glance, but the situation that continues to unfold on America’s campuses is hardly a laughing matter,” the report’s spokeman, Spencer Brown, said in a Feb. 18 release.

Global Warming Doomsday Prophesy: 100 Million Climate Refugees by 2050

Now that the book is in print, the author is making the rounds to promote it, including in an interview with National Public Radio (NPR) where he announces more staggering numbers attributed to climate change.

Climate change is going to kill at least 150 million people and there’s nothing we can do to stop it.

Well, at least it is if you believe climate doomster David Wallace-Wells in the latest issue of New York magazine. Things are bad. Really bad.

We didn’t listen and now we can expect to pay a terrible price — starting with all those deaths:

Work-release inmates rescue Florida baby locked inside SUV, dramatic video shows

The incident began after the baby was accidentally locked inside the car at the West Pasco Judicial Center in New Port Richey, Fla. The parents could not afford a locksmith, and the father intended to break a window, Pasco County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Kevin Doll told WFLA-TV.

A few moments later, a crew of black-and-white clad inmates working nearby offered to help the couple. They were able to pry open the front door just enough for one inmate to use a coat hanger to push a button that unlocked the blue SUV.

NASA spots mysterious ‘dragon’ aurora in the sky

The natural phenomenon is caused by particles emanating from the Sun that collide with Earth’s atmosphere to put on a gorgeous light show.

“Have you ever seen a dragon in the sky? Although real flying dragons don’t exist, a huge dragon-shaped aurora developed in the sky over Iceland earlier this month,” the space agency said in a post.

The agency on Tuesday said officers working at the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge cargo facility in Texas intercepted the truck that held 906 pounds of meth worth $12.7 million.

The discovery was made on Feb. 16 after imaging equipment and dogs used to inspect the truck revealed 350 packages of what appeared to be methamphetamine hidden within the trailer.

Officers arrested the 42-year-old Mexican citizen who was driving the truck and turned him over to Homeland Security investigators, according to the agency.

The methamphetamine was smuggled inside a truck carrying frozen strawberries from Mexico, CBP says.

THE NUMBER OF ILLEGALS CAUGHT AT THE SOUTHWEST BORDER NEARLY DOUBLES, DHS REPORTS

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) — a subset agency of the Department of Homeland Security — reported a total of 47,893 apprehensions of illegal migrants in January at the southwest border, a region of the U.S.-Mexico border that is the most active.

The number marked an increase of nearly 22,000 arrests, or 84 percent, from January 2018.

The huge uptick could suggest more illegal immigrants will try to cross the U.S.-Mexico border in 2019 than originally anticipated. Princeton Policy Advisors, a group that analyzes immigration trends, is currently forecasting 606,000 apprehensions for the entire year, but left the door open to increase this projection.

2 Killed, 1 Hurt When Car Chased by Border Patrol Hits Big Rig in Otay Mesa

A man and woman were seen about 5 p.m. on surveillance video illegally crossing into the United States at the Otay Mesa border crossing, then running to a car that appeared to be waiting for them and speeding away, according to the U.S. Border Patrol.

Border Patrol agents attempted to pull the vehicle over, but the driver did not stop.

This was the second wreck involving people trying to outrun the Border Patrol on Tuesday evening. Earlier in the evening, a woman carrying four Mexican nationals crashed after leading Border Patrol agents on a chase in Boulevard.

Youtube is Facilitating the Sexual Exploitation of Children, and it’s Being Monetized (2019)

Over the past 48 hours I have discovered a wormhole into a soft-core pedophilia ring on Youtube. Youtube’s recommended algorithm is facilitating pedophiles’ ability to connect with each-other, trade contact info, and link to actual CP in the comments.

I can consistently get access to it from vanilla, never-before-used Youtube accounts via innocuous videos in less than ten minutes, in sometimes less than five clicks.. Additionally, I have video evidence that these videos are being monetized by Youtube, brands like McDonald’s, Lysol, Disney, Reese’s, and more.

This loophole is wrong, something needs to be done. Its’s being monetized. CP is being traded as well as social media and WhatsApp addresses. Youtube is facilitating this problem. It doesn’t matter that they flag videos and turn off the comments, these videos are still being monetized, and more importantly they are still available for users to watch.

How would these brands react to knowing their advertising is appearing on these videos? Let them know it is unacceptable:

Pentagon points to China, Russia competition in new AI strategy

President Trump issued an executive order on Feb. 11 titled “Maintaining American Leadership in Artificial Intelligence.

A few days later, the Pentagon followed-up with its own AI manifesto focused on “Harnessing AI to Advance Our Security and Prosperity.” That strategy document offered a similarly urgent assessment of the state of play when it comes to AI, pointing specifically to the fact that other nations are already heavily invested.

“Continued American leadership in AI is of paramount importance to maintaining the economic and national security of the United States,” the executive order reads.

” It’s a directive that he says “will affect the missions of nearly all executive departments and agencies,” and he didn’t mince words on the significance of this quest.

Trump leaves timing of Mueller report release up to new attorney general

Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump said Wednesday it would be at the discretion of his new attorney general, William Barr, to release the report whenever it is ready.

“That’ll be totally up to the new attorney general,” Trump said when asked whether the report should be released while he is away from the country.

“He’s a tremendous man and tremendous person who really respects this country and respects the justice system. So that’ll be totally up to him.”

Ocasio-Cortez goes on tear defending role in Amazon’s New York exit

The Democratic mayor said: “That $3 billion that would go back in tax incentives was only after we were getting the jobs and getting the revenue.”

Fellow Democratic Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y., accused those who are against the deal, including Ocasio-Cortez, of being opposed to jobs.

“It used to be that we would protest wars. Now we are protesting jobs?” she said on CNN Friday, before criticizing the economic arguments of those opposed to the Amazon move.

“I’m a progressive too, but I’m pragmatic,” she said. “We are $4 billion less than we usually get and yet we are kicking out a company that would have been projected [to pay] over 10 years roughly $27 billion in taxes.”

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez slammed over anti-Amazon push in New York City billboard: ‘Thanks for nothing’

Fresh off helping drive Amazon’s planned headquarters out of New York City, the rising Democratic star has inspired a billboard in Times Square.

“Amazon Pullout, Thanks for Nothing, AOC,” the billboard, located on 42nd street near 8th Avenue, reads.

The high-visibility blast is funded by the Job Creators Network and will be up for all to see until next Wednesday.

Justin Fairfax accuser says Dems are ducking her case: ‘Pure cowardice’

“Apparently, the Virginia House Democratic Caucus believes that courageous victims of rape need to be heard — just not by them,” said Nancy Erika Smith, an attorney for accuser Meredith Watson.

“Ms. Watson is counting on the General Assembly to do the right thing and hold hearings now. These nonstop efforts to duck their role is pure cowardice. Sympathy is welcome, but action is needed.”

Watson has called for state’s general assembly to hold a public hearing into both her allegations and those of Vanessa Tyson, who has separately accused the Democrat of rape during the 2004 Democratic National Convention in Boston. Fairfax has denied both allegations.

Trump Takes Back $1 Billion from California; Gavin Newsom Complains: ‘Political Retribution’

Newsom used his “State of the State” address Feb. 12 to cancel the San Francisco-to-Los Angeles project, saying it “would cost too much and, respectfully, would take too long” to complete.

However, he told legislators he wanted to complete the portion of the bullet train under construction in the rural Central Valley, lest the state lose federal dollars granted to California by President Barack Obama as part of the 2009 stimulus: “I am not interested in sending $3.5 billion in federal funding that was allocated to this project back to Donald Trump,” Newsom said.

But on Tuesday, the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) sent a letter to the California High-Speed Rail Authority, informing it that it was terminating its agreement with the state and therefore would refuse to provide the state with $928,620,000 allocated to the high-speed rail project.

Judicial Watch Sues for ‘Coup’ Documents

The suit was filed after the Justice Department failed to respond to three separate FOIA requests dated September 21, 2018 (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:19-cv-00388)).

The lawsuit seeks all written and audio/visual records of any FBI/DOJ discussions regarding the 25th Amendment and plans to secretly record President Trump in the Oval Office.

On February 14, 2019, former acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe stated in an interview with CBS that “there were conversations about the possibility of removing Trump under the 25th Amendment and confirming that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein had offered to wear a wire around the president.”

Elizabeth Warren would declare national emergency for climate change, gun violence, student loan debt

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., said climate change, gun violence, and student loan debt would all be national emergencies under her administration if she were elected president.

“Oh, let’s do a list,” Warren said when asked on the “Late Late Show” what she would see as a national emergency.

“Climate change, gun violence, student loan debt, right off the top. That’s what we ought to be working on.”

Putin warns: Russia will target US with new weapons if it deploys missiles to Europe

Russia’s new Zircon missiles, which Putin claimed fly at nine times of the speed of sound and have a range of 620 miles, are part of its ongoing effort to upgrade its defensive capabilities against what it regards as an increasingly hostile U.S.

The announcement follows the U.S.’ recent withdrawal from a key arms control pact. During his address, Putin rejected the U.S.’ claim that its withdrawal from the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces treaty was prompted by Russian violations of the pact.

He charged that the U.S. made false accusations against Russia to justify its decision to opt out of the pact.

Putin first mentioned the new weapon a year ago, saying it’s immune to interception and can carry a heavy nuclear weapon to target aircraft carrier groups or coastal areas.

He said it can operate at an impressive depth at a speed many times faster than the fastest vessels or torpedoes in use today.

The brief video showing the Poseidon’s test launch was released Wednesday shortly after President Vladimir Putin mentioned the new weapon in his state-of-the-nation address.

It showed the drone and the moment of its launch, but did not provide information about when or where it took place.

Russia Released The First Footage Of Poseidon Nuclear Torpedo

The missile, called the Mini Harpy, is in the category of “loitering missiles,” also known as suicide drones or kamikaze drones.

It is capable of flying, or loitering, in the vicinity of a target area, before it locates a target missile and attacks it.

The Mini Harpy combines the capabilities of two of IAI’s older weapons systems, the Harop and the Harpy.

The new missile can neutralize any radar observing it, offer on-board video footage for the operator and can be launched from various land, mobile and maritime platforms. It can operate in a 60-mile range for two hours.

Microsoft says Russian hackers targeted European researchers

The German Council on Foreign Relations confirmed the attack, and welcomed Microsoft’s initiative.

“We are, of course, concerned about our digital infrastructure and have therefore been implementing a range of measures to counter further such risks,” a spokesperson said in an emailed statement.

“It is also our view as a foreign policy organization and think tank that the issue of cyber attacks should receive strong political and public attention.”

Venezuela security forces kill, punish anti-Maduro protesters: Amnesty

In a report titled “Hunger, punishment and fear, the formula for repression in Venezuela,” Amnesty said dozens died during five days of protests from Jan 21 to Jan 25, almost all from gunshot wounds, and 900 people were arrested.

Amnesty called on the U.N. Human Rights Council to take action to address the “total impunity that prevails in Venezuela” by creating an independent investigative body to report on the human rights situation.

On Feb. 15, the Costa Rican government gave Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro’s representatives 60 days to leave the country.

Costa Rican President Carlos Alvarado has joined the United States and a long list of governments in Latin America and Europe in recognizing Guaido, who invoked the constitution to assume the interim presidency after declaring Maduro’s reelection illegitimate.

Despite recognizing Faria as Venezuela’s legitimate ambassador, the Costa Rican foreign ministry criticized her for taking possession of the embassy before the deadline, saying it would send a diplomatic note.

Michael Ricardo Robinson, 31, pleaded guilty to causing the death of 11-year-old Taylor Schofield by dangerous driving on 12 January at Manchester crown court. He was sentenced to six years and eight months’ imprisonment on Wednesday.

The court heard that Robinson received a two-year driving ban in September 2004. He was banned for another two years in 2006 for driving while disqualified. He received a third 12-month ban in April 2017.

A judge said Robinson “deliberately chose to ignore or had a flagrant disregard for the rules of the road”.

Commentary/Opinion:

Gutfeld on Lara Logan’s blunt truth on media bias

Because whenever the emperor’s new clothes are exposed, don’t expect the emperor to tell you about it. The conformist media will sweep this under a rug, so it’s up to us to burn that rug, even if it’s on top of Chuck Todd’s head.

For decades the mainstream media defended its bias, saying they aren’t liberally biased, just truth biased – and of course, the truth is always liberal. Which is funny, because we’ve lost count how many times the media’s been dead wrong on so many things.

From defending terrible institutions to reanimating bad ideas – the only reason they never get called out, is because they run the “calling out” business. And so the ideas they love – born from teachers’ lounges and safe spaces – continue to harm us, and there’s no speedbump in sight.

So forgive us if we find Logan refreshing. She told you what you know already: the media are about conflict – so there can only be two sides: the consensus among them, and the marginalized you. And all those ad dollars, which back the consensus, that keep rolling in. The profit model for the news division, isn’t news – its division.

The pro-choice license to kill

Nine to ten weeks into a pregnancy
Nine to ten weeks into a pregnancy (photo credit: Lunar Caustic).

It shatters comprehension that a mind and heart can separate to form such a deadly ambivalence as either to kill an innocent human life in or out of the womb or, alternatively, to bear the child and see to his welfare.

Such detachment from human sensibility and instinct regarding human life — an infant’s life, no less! — hovers between pathological and criminal.

The sense and the function of being a mother, especially when pregnancy is not from rape, is surely absent from a woman with such a disordered mind.

We may justifiably suspect that her heart has been hardened and her mind warped by radical feminist ranting.

#YouTubeWakeUp: Mainstream Media Finally Catching On To Massive Child Exploitation Crisis At YouTube

The situation is becoming too big for YouTube to ignore though. As dead set as they are on getting rid of fake news, conspiracies and hate speech, you would think they could spend a bit of time trying to make sure young children aren’t targeted for exploitation in the downtime.

British foreign minister Jeremy Hunt called on Google to “cooperate with UK, US… in removing child abuse content” rather than working with China to help censor the internet there.

In the past 48 hours, Forbes, Tech Crunch and others have weighed in on the matter in light of the video exposing how child exploitation is monetized by YouTube.

McCabe: A Liar, a Leaker, and the Media’s Lover

It’s no secret that Andrew McCabe and the rest of his gang from the FBI have been after Trump since his first days in office.

And unsurprisingly, Trump is less than pleased with their attempt to remove him from office.

Yet the media insists on sympathizing with McCabe — a guy who was fired for essentially lying through his teeth. Miller breaks down the TRUTH about McCabe and what the mainstream media isn’t telling you about the deep state.
